Trip day 10.10.16

I couldn't decide but took pictures of almost everyone on my phone as it was a bit easy to get to as my camera was in my bag.

Why I took these just to rememeber the day of the time of being with my classmates and how free they are and no worries about life just enjoying.

At St Paul gallery to be honest it was my first time there as Auckland art gallery was my fifth but there were so many cool art there and I like 6 which is Shane Tu'ihalangingle and 10 Niva Oberg Humphries.

Shane's work was the lights in the picture and how the people were in and for Niva was the music she had and dancing with lights on the costume and her hands.

I did the sheet that we had to do but when I watch Niva's work it made me want to sing along and dance too but Tongan style as well  but then think of my own work as I still didn't know what as I was going to stick with book and website but then again I wanted my work to move and make people feel like they there and understand how I put it in a poem. I also want people to feel that they can do what feels right to them as a person.

Also hope someday my work can be in a space like that.

At the Auckland art gallery

I forgot how many stairs to climb it but once were there I like everyones work however I didn't get the rabbits in the video so I went to the next one and it remind me of dead lands as the room was dark and projector on two walls and nature.  I couldn't really see where I was going that I had to be extra careful but going into the other room was almost the same but at least I can see a bit and I speed wrote the work.
It was Joyce Campbell that I like and wrote about in my paper but her work made me think I was flowing on air with smoke.

Thanks to my ride Sam and Rebecca for helping me out of the dark room as it was hard to see :)

I really wish I went with the class to the game place but oh well.
