Task and week 2

On the 30.7.16 I did this
Looking at in emit - intro to photography - target drawings document.

When I looked at the pictures, I found some I have seen before yet I couldn't take a screen print it but it had um some artists who we learn from in Drawing Methodologies.

When we have to bring something that made us think of art or how we get into it.  For me I had more than a few that got me into this (Art) was two games, three manga books and history.

My sticker that I got is different to others as I add a drawing and I couldn't decide what to say. But I did write what I mean.

1.8.16

Today I bring so many things for why I became an artist in, I ask Caroline to take a picture for me as my phone couldn't take good pictures

Bumper Sticker I did during the weekend I didn't get it or what so I just draw and wrote a comic strip as its what I would like to do.  But it says, "CAN DO IT! Nothing is impossible".  However I don't think I can motivate my self with a sticker but I can get motivate by Manga, R.P.G, daydream, nature and things other people have done and my family.

If I can do it again I'll draw something that will make me happy.

Toi object
  • Fruits Basket was that I got when I was in my teens and I watch the anime but at the same time reading it and I love her style (Natsuki Takuya) as to me her work stood out and I wanted to know more of her story as its of a girl whos lost her parents and home that she lived in a tent until a guy named Yuki met her as his cousin Shigure saw her looking at the things he created.
  • Hana-Kimi was in the Borders (Sylvia Park) and I like the style that I like the storyline and it stood out to me as I was looking round trying to find a book to read.
  • Magical x Miracle was in the magazine and it was just one half of the volume one and I enjoy the storyline and how it end as I went looking for it and I was happy as it was like what I think it be like, well I didn't see how the story will end.
I like these just that I like the feelings that I get of love, giggly and inside as I read them and the others.   I want to know more what happens as when I almost the end of the volume I get a bit well sad and think, "Oh! how stink ... man have to wait for the next one", so that's what I want for my work to do in some bits.

This is another that get me motivate in my writing along with anime but I don't play these much any more.  But at that time I always wrote with top and numbers as where to stop or beginning as that was how I wrote and my bro did tell me I should get into making my own along with my sis (Mele Siniva) who said the same thing as my bro (Dave Moale)

ARTISTS we look at

Elliott Nrwitt, California 1955 picture

Neil Pardington, museum of NZ - Te papa
I found and remember this as I looked for it.  It makes me think its close up and three separate photos in one, well that's what I think.

I just found this couldn't find the picture that was in the PowerPoint.

Christine Webster, pursuing through

I still couldn't find the photo so  I choose this one as reference.

Elliot Erwitt, Paris, France, 1989

I remember this one as its like a moving photo

My Wrong photos - using dslr camera (Caroline's camera) for exercise

the stutter and Iso was low

I took few black ones that Caroline helped me and I need to change the ISO and aperture and thats why I took so many but still need practise with it (dslr camera)

the black ones are very out of focus nothing was shown so iso, stutter and aperture need to change and bring out the light.

Theres a bit light but still out of focus but bring out the apperture up a bit and stutter.  The use on daylight for taking the photos in the fishbowl.

White Balance that Caroline had it on as the object is yellow so thats why its like green if white balance is change.

this picture is almost okay but still have to turn the apperture up a bit more and stutter.

Caroline took the picture of my dslr camera information while I help her with her's camera information by using her phone and send my ones to my facebook, which I'm very happy.

Steph's told Denise about camera details can be shown which is BR in the yellow box which I still don't understand how it works, however have to download another Chrome as it won't appear

F.stop - fraction of a second

Research

Well I remember the artist I went to see in Auckland Art Gallery and I did a bit of a research on her, Fiona Pardington as I didn't know what to look for as she was my second choice to look at and I like this photo that she did and others

Artist:   Fiona Pardington
Title:     Still Life with Mussel Spat, My Name Sigil Crystals, Blood and Moon holy Water, Ripiro 2014
Date:     2014
Size:      Unknown

Artist:  Fiona Pardington
Title:  Hornets Nest, Grand Piano and Wilting Bouquet_Ripiro 2013 (found this today it wasn't there in Auckland Art Gallery)
Date:  2013
Size:  Unknown

Still got to find the other information but I like this one too why it looks fancy with the lights on the objects for both. Its like a witch's lair to me and its so emotion in them.

http://suite.co.nz/artists/fiona-pardington - this shows the details on all her works even the two above.

I try to take some photos for another class however I don't know much about dslr's cameras so I watch a youtube and pictures just to understand more
